American Iron Pre-1975 is for the cars that came with a carburetor and a points distributor. Holley and Quadrajet tuning, small block and big block rebuilds with machine shop costs attached, distributor curves and electronic ignition conversions, drum to disc swaps and modern brake hardware, leaf spring and shock choices, rust repair in quarters and floor pans, and the difference between a numbers-matching car and a good story.
For verified owners of any American-built car or truck from before 1975, restored, original or in pieces.
What happens here: build and restoration logs with photos and invoices, casting and part number threads, machine shop and upholsterer referrals, judging and documentation advice before a show, drives planned around older brakes and older tyres, and a members' list of what cars are actually selling for right now.
