The agreement between Octane Department and a business on Octane Partners. What the monthly plan buys, what the label means, how member data must be handled, and how either side ends it.
Octane Department® is a registered trademark in India.
Octane Partners is the business layer of Octane Department, a community for car and motorcycle owners, operated by IM Integrated-Minerals LLP, Flat No. D-67, Arya Nagar Apartment, 91, I.P. Extension, Patparganj, New Delhi, Delhi 110092, India. These terms are the agreement between us and a business that applies to be, or is, an Octane Partner.
They sit alongside the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. The person who holds a seat in a business keeps their personal account and personal terms. A business is not a member and a member is not a business. Nothing a business pays for changes a member's rights, and nothing a member pays for gives a business any right.
This version is dated 10 October 2026.
Any automotive business that serves car or motorcycle owners in India, the United Arab Emirates and the United States may apply: protection and detailing, tuning and exhausts, wheels and tyres, servicing and repair, restoration, track preparation, photography, transport, storage, and the other categories listed on the application form.
Octane Partners is a curated list, kept small on purpose. We limit the number of partners in each city and category, currently 6 unless a category says otherwise, so that each partner sees real enquiries.
The partner plan is paid monthly, per location, ahead of the month. The founding rate is ₹999 per month per location, offered to a business activating for the first time while the founding offer is open. The standard rate is ₹2,999 per month per location. A business pays in the currency of the country it is listed in: Indian rupees or US dollars. Payments in UAE dirhams open later. Prices in Indian rupees include GST at 18 percent. Prices in other currencies include local taxes where they are required.
A business can choose an annual plan instead. It is paid once, per location, and covers twelve months from the day it is paid. The founding annual price is ₹9,999 per location, offered to a business activating for the first time while the founding offer is open. The standard annual price is ₹29,999 per location. Everything below applies to it in the same way, and it does not renew on its own.
We sometimes issue a code that takes a percentage or a fixed amount off a plan payment. A code is a courtesy from us, not a right, and it works like this.
Octane Partner is a commercial relationship: the business has been accepted onto the list and has paid for the current period. It is not an endorsement by us, not a guarantee of the quality of the work, and not a promise that we have inspected the premises or tested the service.
A partner may describe itself as an Octane Partner while the plan is active and for no other purpose. A partner may not say or imply that we recommend it over other businesses, that we certify its work, or that a member who uses it is covered by us in any way.
A business that activates for the first time at the founding rate keeps that rate for 12 months from its first activation, whatever happens to the standard price in that time. After the lock, renewals are at the standard rate, or at a rate agreed in writing.
Founding recognition, the Founding Partner label, is separate from founding pricing. It is given when the first founding payment lands and it is not taken back when the rate protection ends or when the business later pays the standard rate. Recognition is a label, not a discount.
The plan buys a listing, a quote-request inbox, the ability to publish approved offers, and analytics. It does not buy enquiries, bookings, customers or revenue, and we make no promise about any of them. The number of quote requests a partner receives depends on members, who decide for themselves.
When a paid period ends without a new payment, the profile stays listed for a grace period of 7 days, marked past due on the partner dashboard. After the grace period the business is delisted: the public profile and the search listing come down, and the quote-request inbox closes to new requests. Conversations already open stay readable.
Paying again during or after the grace period relists the business from the day the payment lands. Days without payment are not added back.
Sponsored placements are sold separately from the plan, by agreement, for a city, a category, a slot and a date range. Wherever a sponsored placement appears it is labelled Sponsored and sits in its own row.
Money never changes the organic order. A sponsored placement does not move a business up the main list, does not change search results, and does not change how the four labels are given.
Each label is separate. None implies another, none can be bought, and a sponsored placement is not a label.
A quote request is the only way a member's details reach a partner. The request carries what the member chose to share on the form: their name, the vehicle, the service, the message, and a phone number only if they chose to be called. Nothing is copied from the member's profile.
Member reviews of partners are not live yet. When they are, they will be written by members about work they paid for, and a partner will be able to reply but not to remove them.
Asking for reviews in exchange for a discount, writing or buying reviews, reviewing a competitor, creating member accounts to do any of that, or asking a member to change or withdraw a review, ends the partnership. The same applies to any attempt to game quote requests, offers or placements.
A partner may propose a member offer and a Black privilege. They appear on the public profile only after our staff approve the wording. Once approved, the partner must honour them as written for every member who presents them, for as long as they are shown. A partner can ask us to change or withdraw an offer; the change takes effect when the new wording is approved, not before.
Every partner payment is invoiced by IM Integrated-Minerals LLP, GSTIN 07AAIFI7447K1ZW, in the currency it was paid in. For a business in India it is a GST invoice. It shows the business's GSTIN as it stood on the business profile when the order was made. Keep the profile's GSTIN correct before paying; an invoice is not reissued for a GSTIN added later.
The monthly plan is not refundable once the month has begun, and a suspended or cancelled partner is not refunded for the remainder of a period. Months paid ahead and not yet started are refundable on request. Failed and duplicate payments are returned in full. The detail is in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
The annual plan follows the same rule. It is not refundable once its twelve months have begun, and a suspended or cancelled partner is not refunded for the remainder. An annual plan paid ahead for a period that has not yet started is refundable on request.
A business can stop at any time: cancel from the billing page, or simply do not pay for the next month. The listing runs to the end of the paid period, then the grace period, then comes down. Nothing is charged after that.
We can suspend or end a partnership at any time, as set out under curation. Where we end it for our own reasons and not for something the business did, we refund the unused part of the paid period.
When a partnership ends, the business may no longer describe itself as an Octane Partner, must stop using any member details it received, and loses access to the quote-request inbox except to read conversations already open.
Write to us first at support@octanedepartment.com with PARTNER in the subject line. We answer within two business days and most things are settled in an email. These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
To the extent Indian law allows, our liability to a business is limited to the amount that business paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profit or other indirect loss.
