Skyline and Highway 9 through the redwoods, Alice's on a Sunday, and San Jose to Sonoma in a morning.
Bay Area Chapter covers San Francisco, the Peninsula, San Jose and Silicon Valley, the East Bay and the North Bay. San Mateo Cars and Coffee at AutoVino in San Carlos every other weekend. Silicon Valley Motor Club in Portola Valley, capped at a hundred cars. The Golden Gate BMW chapter's meet in the city.
The loop everyone knows is Highway 9 through the redwoods, Skyline Boulevard along the ridge and La Honda Road back down, with Alice's Restaurant at the junction and Sempervirens Point where people stop at sunset. Track days at Laguna Seca, Sonoma Raceway and Thunderhill, an hour to three hours out.
Porsches, BMWs and clean JDM builds in roughly equal measure, which is what a valley full of engineers with money ends up owning.
For any car or motorcycle owner in the San Francisco Bay Area. Open with approval, and an ownership photo so chapter runs are made of real vehicles.
What happens here: meet listings from San Francisco to San Jose, route cards for the Skyline and Highway 9 loop, group entries at Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill, California emissions and executive order questions answered before you buy the part, shop and alignment referrals by side of the bay, and parking and storage that people are actually willing to share.
