BDR & TAT Riders is for long dirt days on a heavy bike. Section planning across the Washington, Colorado, Utah and Arizona routes, when the passes open and when snow closes them, fuel range between towns and where to carry the extra gallon, 50/50 and knobby tyre choices and how many miles you really get from each, suspension setup for a loaded bike, a tool roll and tyre repair kit you can actually use on the trail, and whether any of it should be ridden solo.
For verified owners of an adventure or dual-sport motorcycle in the United States. Your vehicle registration and an ownership photo are required.
What happens here: section reports with GPS tracks and dates ridden, season and closure updates, packing and luggage threads with weights, tyre and suspension comparisons, group rides with a lead and a sweep, and recovery and first aid sessions before the long trips.
