Early, quiet and over by nine. The Saturday morning that happens in every city, wherever you are.
Cars and Coffee is the same ritual everywhere: an early start, a car park, a coffee, and everyone gone before the shops open. This club is where members say where theirs is, what time it really starts, and what the unwritten rules are, so that a visitor in an unfamiliar city can park up on a Saturday and be welcome rather than confused.
For anybody who owns a car or a motorcycle and turns up. There is no machine here that is too ordinary; a well-kept hatchback parked neatly is worth more to a morning than a supercar leaving loudly.
What happens here: a running list of gatherings by city with start times and venues, etiquette threads on arrival, parking and departure, the behaviour that gets meetings shut down and how organisers head it off, photographs posted with the owner's consent, and members hosting members who are passing through.
