The Rolex 24 in January, the 12 Hours of Sebring in March, and an afternoon storm every summer day.
Central Florida Chapter covers Orlando, Daytona, Tampa Bay and the middle of the state. Two of the great endurance races in the world are within two hours of here. The Rolex 24 runs at Daytona in January, with the Roar Before the 24 as its test weekend, and the 12 Hours of Sebring runs in March on concrete that has been there since the airfield was.
Both circuits run club and open track events the rest of the year, which means a member here can get proper seat time on famous tarmac without a plane ticket.
Florida requires no safety inspection and no emissions test, which makes it one of the easiest states in the country to own something unusual. The weather does the regulating instead: sun on paint and interiors, and a thunderstorm most summer afternoons that arrives faster than you can get a roof up.
For any car or motorcycle owner in Orlando and central Florida. Open with approval, and an ownership photo so chapter runs are made of real vehicles.
What happens here: meet listings across Orlando, Daytona and Tampa Bay, group entries and spectator planning for the Rolex 24 and Sebring, paint protection and interior care threads for year round sun, covered and climate controlled storage referrals, hurricane season planning, and shop and detailing referrals across the corridor.
