Desert & Adventure Riding covers both halves of riding off the tarmac here. Light dual-sport bikes in soft sand around Sweihan, Al Qudra and Al Faya: pressures, momentum, standing position, and getting a 150 kg bike out of a bowl on your own. Big adventure bikes on graded tracks and wadi roads in the Hajar mountains: tyre choice, radiator and hand protection, luggage that does not hurt when it lands on you, and how far it is sensible to be from a fuel station in the hot months.
For verified owners of any road-legal adventure or dual-sport motorcycle. Skills are taught here. Nobody is expected to arrive good.
What happens here: graded rides (beginner, intermediate, advanced) in sand and on mountain tracks, skills sessions with experienced riders, machine-prep threads on tyres, gearing and protection, heat and hydration planning, GPS tracks and a shared hazard map, and a winter calendar.
