Al Badayer, Al Faya and the Al Qudra sands. Deflation, convoy order and getting home with the car intact.
Dune Bashing is the weekend scene at Big Red and Al Badayer, the bowls behind Al Faya and Fossil Rock, and the softer sand off the Al Qudra and Al Lisaili roads. What gets argued about here: pressures, because most people run far too high, momentum against throttle, reading a crest you cannot see over, side slopes and when to abandon one, and how to pull a buried car out without bending a chassis or tearing a recovery point off it.
For verified owners of a low-range 4x4 with rated recovery points, a sand flag and a rope. Beginners are welcome on graded runs. Nobody is expected to arrive good.
What happens here: graded convoys (beginner, intermediate, advanced) on Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi sands, deflation and recovery workshops, vehicle-prep sessions on tyres, protection and cooling, a shared map of tracks, gates and hazards, and a winter calendar planned a month ahead.
