EA888 Club is a cross-badge club for the Volkswagen Group four cylinder that ended up in half the fast cars sold here. Generation 2 and generation 3 have different weak points and different tuning headroom, and knowing which one you have changes almost every answer.
For verified owners of any EA888 car: Skoda Octavia and Superb, Volkswagen Golf GTI and Tiguan, Audi A4, A6, Q3 and Q5, among others. Registration and an ownership photo.
What happens here: failure histories with part numbers and invoices, service interval arguments, oil and fuel threads, tuner comparisons across the platform, and group buys on the parts everybody eventually needs.
