Masafi, Dibba, Khor Fakkan and the Fujairah coast. The other side of the country in a morning.
East Coast Run crosses the country and back. Out on the E88 through Masafi, over the Hajar mountains, down the Khor Fakkan road with its hairpins and tunnels, then the coast through Al Aqah, Dibba and Fujairah with mountains on one side and sea on the other. It is roughly 150 km each way from Dubai, it is at its best before eight in the morning, and the return through the mountains in the afternoon heat is the part people underestimate.
Open to any owner or rider in the Emirates. An ownership photo so the group is made of real machines.
What happens here: run announcements with meeting points and departure times, route cards with fuel and water stops, notes on the mountain sections and roadworks, photography stops on the coast, cooler-month planning, and introductions to the clubs people go on to join.
