Your first one, and everything nobody told you. Servicing, insurance, tyres and what that noise probably is.
First Car, First Bike is the club where no question is too basic. What a service includes and what a workshop added that you did not need, reading a quote line by line, insurance, excess and what a claim does to your premium, tyre age and tread depth, brake pad wear and the noises that mean stop now, oil grades and how often, what each warning light actually means, and the pre-purchase checks for a used first car or bike.
For anyone on their first car or motorcycle, or about to buy one. Open to all, approval required, no ownership documents needed to join.
What happens here: quote reviews before you approve the work, buying checklists for first cars and bikes, maintenance walkthroughs written for somebody doing the job the first time, noise and warning light threads answered plainly, insurance and running cost planning, and introductions to the model and brand clubs once you know what you own.
