The gateway to Spiti. Kinnaur, Jalori, Rohtang and a chapter that knows which road is actually open.
Himachal Riders is the chapter that most Spiti and Ladakh rides pass through, and it holds the knowledge that makes those rides work: which passes are open this week, where the road is washed out, where fuel is genuinely available between Kaza and Manali, and which workshop in Shimla, Manali or Reckong Peo can help. Local rides cover the Kufri and Narkanda routes, Jalori Pass, the Tirthan valley and the Chail loop.
For any motorcycle owner based in or regularly riding through Himachal Pradesh. Open with approval; an ownership photo is required so ride-outs are made up of real machines. Full gear on every chapter ride.
What happens here: fortnightly breakfast rides with a lead and a sweep, the Narkanda and Jalori routes, the Tirthan valley loop and a seasonal Kinnaur or Spiti run, local mechanic and tyre-fitter referrals, and hosting duties when other chapters ride through.
