Munnar at dawn, Vagamon's grass hills, Thamarassery ghat and a state that rides in the rain anyway.
Kerala Riders is one of the densest riding communities in the country. The routes are extraordinary and close together: Munnar and the Gap Road, Vagamon and the Idukki hills, the Thamarassery and Wayanad ghats, the Ponmudi climb in the south, the Athirappilly forest road and the coastal stretches between them. Six months of the year are wet, so this chapter genuinely knows wet-weather riding, tyre condition and how to read a flooded road.
For any motorcycle owner based in or regularly riding through Kerala. Open with approval; an ownership photo is required so ride-outs are made up of real machines. Full gear on every chapter ride.
What happens here: fortnightly breakfast rides with a lead and a sweep, the Munnar and Vagamon climbs, the Athirappilly forest road and a monthly Wayanad or Ponmudi run, local mechanic and tyre-fitter referrals, and hosting duties when other chapters ride through.
