Manali to Leh, Spiti and the passes above 17,000 feet. Altitude, permits, and getting everyone home.
Ladakh & Spiti Riders runs Octane's high-altitude ride-outs and holds the knowledge behind them: acclimatisation schedules that prevent AMS rather than treat it, inner-line permits, fuel gaps between Tandi and Leh, tyre and chain choices for gravel and water crossings, carburetion and fuelling behaviour above 15,000 feet, oxygen and first-aid protocol, and a sweep rider who carries the tools.
For riders planning or returning from a Ladakh, Spiti, Zanskar or Umling La ride. Open with approval; an ownership photo is required for a convoy place.
What happens here: scheduled Pan-India rides with route cards and briefings, member-led sub-groups by city, skills sessions (slow-speed control, threshold braking, navigation, first aid), and a calendar that is planned a quarter ahead.
