Charmadi and Shiradi ghats on one side, the Konkan coast road on the other. Both in one morning.
Mangaluru is the rare city with a world-class ghat and a world-class coast road within an hour of each other. The chapter runs Charmadi and Shiradi towards Bengaluru, Agumbe further north, the coastal highway to Udupi, Murudeshwar and Karwar, and the Kudremukh route. Ghat brake management and coastal salt corrosion are both chapter specialities.
For any car or motorcycle owner based in or regularly travelling through Mangaluru and coastal Karnataka. Cars and bikes share this chapter; some runs are mixed, some are split by machine, and both are announced here. Open with approval; an ownership photo is required so chapter runs are made up of real vehicles.
What happens here: fortnightly early-morning meets, chapter drives on the Charmadi and Agumbe ghats and the coastal highway towards Udupi and Murudeshwar, local workshop and detailer referrals, a chapter group for live traffic and police check updates, and hosting duties when other chapters visit Mangaluru.
