Meghalaya's rain roads, Tawang's pass and the seven states that most riders only read about.
Northeast Riders is the chapter for the region that every serious Indian rider eventually wants to see. Shillong and Cherrapunji, Dawki and Mawlynnong, the Kaziranga highway, the long climb to Tawang over Sela Pass, Ziro and the Arunachal valleys, and Manipur and Nagaland beyond. The chapter holds the practical knowledge that makes these rides possible: inner-line permits, fuel gaps, landslide season, border-area rules and where the workshops actually are.
For any motorcycle owner based in or regularly riding through the Northeast. Open with approval; an ownership photo is required so ride-outs are made up of real machines. Full gear on every chapter ride.
What happens here: fortnightly breakfast rides with a lead and a sweep, the Shillong and Cherrapunji routes, the Kaziranga highway and seasonal expeditions to Tawang, Ziro and beyond, local mechanic and tyre-fitter referrals, and hosting duties when other chapters ride through.
