Parallel Twins is the club for the engine layout that made big-bike touring affordable. The Royal Enfield 650s, the Honda CB500 twins, the Kawasaki 650s and Yamaha's CP2 are different engines with the same questions: which oil, which exhaust does not lean the mixture out, what a valve check costs, and how far a twin will go on a tank.
For verified riders of any parallel-twin motorcycle. Proof of ownership and a photo of the bike.
What happens here: oil and valve threads with intervals that hold up, exhaust and air filter changes with fuelling notes, touring setups and range figures, long-term reliability logs, and rides built around a twin's pace.
