13B and Renesis. Apex seals, compression numbers and owners who know what a rebuild really costs.
Rotary Owners is the Wankel club. Compression testing with a rotary-specific tester and what three even faces actually tell you, apex and side seal wear, chrome and housing scoring, oil injection against premix and which oils people genuinely run, flooding and starting technique, cooling and hot restart problems, porting from street to bridge and the fuelling that has to follow, and rebuild costs quoted with invoices attached.
For verified owners of a rotary-engined car: the SA22C, FC and FD RX-7, and the RX-8.
What happens here: compression logs by engine and mileage, rebuild threads with part numbers and machine shop notes, oil and coolant choices argued with evidence, porting and fuelling setups with dyno traces, cooling upgrades and heat soak fixes, and a used-car inspection checklist that catches a tired engine before money changes hands.
