The Cottonwood canyons before the ski traffic, Moab at Easter, and the salt flats in August.
Salt Lake City Chapter covers Salt Lake City, Sandy, Provo and Park City. Salt Lake Cars and Coffee runs Sundays from ten, and Sunset Coffee down in Sandy runs Saturdays from nine. Big Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood canyons climb straight out of the valley to the ski resorts. Little Cottonwood is the shorter and tighter of the two, 7 miles between granite walls, and both are best before the ski traffic and after the snow.
Moab is three and a half hours south. The Easter Jeep Safari runs there in late March and early April, put on by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers, and 2026 is the sixtieth year of it.
Bonneville is two hours west and Speed Week is in August, which is the one week a year the state is full of people who care only about a single number.
For any car or motorcycle owner in Salt Lake City and northern Utah. Open with approval, and an ownership photo so chapter runs are made of real vehicles.
What happens here: meet listings across the valley and up to Park City, canyon condition and traction law updates through the winter, Easter Jeep Safari trail planning and vehicle prep, Bonneville spectating and crewing, altitude tuning threads, and shop and off-road fabrication referrals.
