1,600 km in 24 hours, witnessed and documented. Long-distance riding as a discipline, not a holiday.
Thousand-Kilometre Days is endurance riding, which is not touring. Route and fuel planning down to the individual stop, average speed against time spent off the bike, hydration and electrolytes, eating without stopping properly, the fatigue signs that come before a mistake and when to call it, auxiliary lighting for night sections, seats, screens and bar risers that decide how hour fourteen goes, tyre and chain wear over sustained distance, and documentation: receipts, witnesses and a ride log that will stand up.
For any motorcycle owner who rides certified distance rides or wants to prepare for a first one. Approval required, ownership photo encouraged.
What happens here: route planning threads with fuel stops and timings, seat, screen and ergonomics comparisons from people past hour twelve, auxiliary lighting and electrical setups, hydration and fatigue management, documentation and witness process walkthroughs, tyre and chain wear logs over long distances, and ride reports with the log attached.
