1.0 and 1.2 turbo triples. Small engines worked hard, and the cheapest route into a quick car.
Three-Cylinder Turbo is the club for the engines that put turbocharging into ordinary cars. A 1.0 T-GDi or a 1.0 TSI is a small engine working hard, which means oil choice matters, heat matters, and a tune that adds 30 hp is worth understanding before you buy it.
For verified owners of any car with a turbocharged three-cylinder engine. Proof of ownership and a photo of the car.
What happens here: oil and coolant threads specific to small turbos, tune and intercooler experiences with evidence, DCT and automated manual behaviour in traffic, 100,000 km reliability logs, and the drives where a light car with 120 hp is the most fun thing on the road.
