Track days, coaching and timing. The club that gets you through a first session, then makes you quicker.
Track Dept. is Octane's driver development club. It organises track days, brings in licensed coaches, runs timing and prep clinics, and hosts the debriefs where lap times get honest. It also answers the things nobody asks out loud before a first session: which helmet is accepted, what tech inspection actually looks for, what sighting laps are for, what each flag means, where passing is allowed and where it is not, and what your tyre pressures should read hot and cold.
For any car or motorcycle owner who wants to use a circuit properly. Riders are welcome here; the two-wheel session logistics live in Track Day Riders. Approval required, ownership photo optional but encouraged.
What happens here: scheduled club track days with briefings and run groups, member-led sub-groups by city, skills sessions (driving, photography, navigation, first aid), and a calendar that is planned a quarter ahead.
