Cars that no longer drive to the circuit. Cages, slicks, a trailer and a logbook instead of a number plate.
Track-Only Cars is for the point where a build stops pretending to be a road car. Cage design and who is allowed to weld it, seat and harness mounting and expiry dates, stripping weight without wrecking the structure, fire suppression and master cut-offs, slicks against semi-slicks and what each costs per set, dry sumps and fuel surge, cooling for back-to-back sessions, data logging, and the trailer, spares and tow vehicle that arrive with the decision.
For any owner running a car that is off the road register and used only on circuits. Approval required, with build and track evidence.
What happens here: cage and safety structure threads with rulebook references, weight and corner balance logs, tyre and brake cost per event, fuelling and cooling for repeated sessions, data and video review, trailer and towing setups, and honest running cost breakdowns per weekend.
