Cars imported legally at 25 years. Paperwork, titles, emissions and the state that says no.
25-Year Imports is the club for a car that arrived in a container. Federal paperwork and customs entry, what a clean title looks like and what a bonded title costs you in time, states that register a right-hand-drive car without an argument and states that do not, emissions and inspection exemptions by model year, sourcing from auctions and exporters with landed costs written down, and the shops willing to work on a car whose service manual is in another language.
For verified owners of a legally imported vehicle in the United States, Japanese, European or otherwise. Your vehicle registration and an ownership photo are required.
What happens here: import and titling threads organised by state, auction sheet reading and exporter reviews, landed cost breakdowns with real invoices, parts sourcing with part numbers, specialist shop lists, and meets where the paperwork stories are as good as the cars.
