The engine itself. Premix ratios, port timing, expansion chambers and jetting that moves with the weather.
Two-Stroke Survivors is the engine club. A two-stroke makes its power through gas flow and wave timing, which is why a chamber changes the powerband more than a cam ever could on a four-stroke, and why jetting that was right in winter is rich in August. Members post port maps, chamber dimensions, jetting tables against altitude and temperature, and the honest result on a dyno or a stopwatch.
For verified owners of any two-stroke motorcycle. Registration and an ownership photo.
What happens here: jetting tables with altitude and air temperature recorded, port work and chamber threads with measurements, oil and premix ratio comparisons with mileage behind them, ignition threads on points, CDI and timing, and rebuild logs with parts and sources.
