Mojave Road, the White Rim, Alpine Loop and the Rubicon. Public land, permits and self-recovery.
Western Overland is about being three hours from pavement with everything you need on board. The Mojave Road and Death Valley in the cool months, the White Rim and its permit lottery, the Alpine Loop and the Colorado passes once the snow clears, the Rubicon Trail and what it does to a rig, plus fuel and water range, tyre pressure and sidewall repair on sharp rock, and recovery when you are the only vehicle for 40 miles.
For verified owners of a capable, overland-prepared vehicle. Your vehicle registration and an ownership photo are required.
What happens here: graded trail runs from easy to hard, route and permit planning with reservation dates, recovery and tyre repair workshops, vehicle prep sessions on tyres, armor and dual battery setups, multi-day trips with camp and water logistics, and a shared track and hazard map.
