An early Sunday run down the East Coast Road from Akkarai to Mahabalipuram while the road is still quiet. About 40 km, sunrise at about 6.30 on the way.
The Shore Temple opens at 6 am and has an ASI entry ticket if you want to go in. Breakfast is paid by each person.
