A full Saturday on the Twisted Sisters, Ranch Roads 335, 336 and 337, from Boerne via Bandera and Medina, lunch in Leakey, and back. About 200 miles.
There is no fuel for long stretches, so arrive with a full tank. Livestock and deer are on the road, and the low water crossings can be slick. If ice is forecast, we cancel by 6 pm on Friday and tell everyone who asked for a place. Lunch is paid by each person.
