The plan

A Saturday loop from Henderson along Northshore Road through Lake Mead National Recreation Area, into Valley of Fire State Park from the east, and home on I-15. About 130 miles.

Each car pays its own Lake Mead entry and the Valley of Fire fee, which is $10 for Nevada plates and $15 for others. There is no fuel on Northshore Road. Bring water.
