The plan

A Sunday run up the Ortega Highway from San Juan Capistrano to the Lookout Roadhouse above Lake Elsinore, which opens at 8 on weekends. About 22 miles of mountain road.

Route 74 is heavily patrolled and has a long double yellow. Keep to the limit and pass only where it is legal. Breakfast is paid by each person.
